Maysville – Arthur Dennis Mullikin, Sr., 77, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at his home. Mr. Mullikin retired from the Cincinnati Police Department and formerly owned and operated Dennis' Gym in Maysville. Dennis was a Veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the United States Marine Corps. He attended the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University and is a member of Faithway Baptist Church.

Dennis was born in Maysville, Kentucky on November 3, 1947 the son of the late Arthur Doc Mullikin and Ellabelle Fowler Mullikin.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Edmiston Mullikin; his children, Arthur Dennis Mullikin, Jr. of Cincinnati, OH and Kimberly Mullikin Hesse (Bill) of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Olivia Grieszmer, Victoria Grieszmer and Dan Grieszmer, Jr. and sisters, Sandy Gulley (Stanley) of Maysville, KY and Boni Buchanan of Fairview, KY.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Janice Bradford and Beverly Teegarden.

Funeral services for Dennis Mullikin will be held at the Faithway Baptist Church at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 12, 2025 with Pastor Kevin Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Grayson, Kentucky with Military Honors.

Local pallbearers will be Terry Bradford, Richard Henson, Jarrod Gulley, Richard Meyer, Stanley Gulley and Dennis Mullikin Jr. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30 AM until the hour of the service.
