Barry Wayne Gibbs, 55, of Maysville, KY died Saturday, February 8, 2020. Mr. Gibbs was an associate of Green Tokai. He was a graduate of Maysville High School and he was a veteran, having served in the US Army. Barry was born in Maysville, Kentucky on October 8, 1964 the son of the late Lillian Gibbs. He is survived by his daughters, Kierra Gibbs of Cincinnati, Ohio and Kwatesha Gibbs of Oklahoma; his brothers, George Jackson, Jr. (Devonna), Jeremiah Jackson and Timothy Whaley; his sisters, Joellen Jones, Ida Mae Nelson, Mary Taylor, Betty McClain and Lisa Bennett (Kirby); his special cousins, Ernie Greene and Wayne Greene; his special friend, Vonda Lofton and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Rufus Jackson and Greffrey Dale Rice. Memorial services for Barry Wayne Gibbs will be held at the Scott United Methodist Church at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2020 with Rev. Claude Commodore officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service. The arrangements are entrusted to the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
