Obituary

Bobby "Lefty" Dale Graves, 86 of Maysville died peacefully Thursday, March 28, 2024 at his residence.

Bobby was born in Robertson County, June 26, 1937, the son of the late Clifton and Emaline Jett

Graves.

He was a faithful member of the Central Baptist Church in Maysville. He was an avid baseball/softball

player up into his early 60's. He loved traveling to the Great Smokey Mountains yearly and spending

time with his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bobby was a longtime employee of the

Groce Dry Cleaners for over 40 years, where he was known for his giving nature throughout the

community supplying children with their favorite chewing gum flavor. After retiring from dry cleaning,

he delivered supplies for Carrigan Supply another 10 years.

He was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife

of 42 years, Diana Myers Graves; three children Michelle (Larry) Robinson of Raymore, MO, Michael

(Karen) Graves of Mt. Olivet and Shawna Sauer Martin (Gary Moore) of Maysville; four grandchildren,

Drew (Kelsey) Robinson, Jeffrey (Ashton) Martin, Bradley Martin and Saydie (Brandon) Goodwin; nine

great-grandchildren, Isacc, Davina, Riley, Miles, Nora, Harper, Morgan, Nataleigh and Georgia; one sister

Mary (Tommy) Orme; brother-in-law's, Steve Campbell, Bud Clark and William (Carol) Myers and sister-

in-law's, Patricia Graves and Yvonne (Kenny) Cracraft and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Campbell Graves; one child, Chad Sauer; three

Brothers, Kenneth, Wayne and Scotty Graves and two sisters, Joyce Clark and Janet (Carl) England.

Pallbearers will be Drew Robinson, Jeffrey Martin, Bradley Martin, Brandon Goodwin, Larry Robinson

and Kenny Cracraft. Honorary pallbearers will be Isacc Martin, Randy Mason, Doug White, Lou Cook,

Tom Carpenter, David Chasteen and Jerry Johnson.

Visitation will be Monday, April 1, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Central Baptist Church. Services will be

Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Central Baptist Church with Pastor Adam Burton officiating. Burial

will follow at Hillcrest Garden of Memories.

In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to Central Baptist Church Building Fund and Hospice of

Hope. Arrangements under the direction of Knox and Brothers Funeral Home. Condolences at
