Maysville – Bonnie Vaughn Lashbrooke, 94, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the Adams County Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Lashbrooke was the widow of Thomas M. Lashbrooke who passed in 2003. She retired from South Central Bell and was a member of the Orangeburg Christian Church. Bonnie was a 1945 graduate of Maysville High School. She was born in Nicholas County, Kentucky on July 26, 1929 the daughter of the late Albert and Nellie Snapp Vaughn.

She is survived by her niece, Mindy Lashbrooke Wise (Reggie) of Havana, FL, her two nephews, Tom Lashbrooke (Rachel) of Maysville, KY and Phil Spence (Connie) of Tollesboro, KY; her two great nieces, Jenny Lashbrooke Harris and Breanna Lashbrooke and her great nephew, Brian Spence; special cousins, Janet Paice and Imogene Ring and special friends, Becky and John Silvey and Caroline VanGosen.

Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Rachel Lashbrooke Spence and her nephew, Paul Lashbrooke and her sister-in-law, Lena Lashbrooke and brother-in-law, Roy Lashbrooke.

Funeral services for Bonnie Lashbrooke will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 13, 2024 with Pastor Marty Voiers officiating. Burial will follow in the Maysville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Harris, Brian Spence, Phil Spence and Dane Blankenship. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
