Charles Estill Washington, born July 28, 1956 age 69, of Maysville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025 at Hospice of Hope Care Center.
Charles was a hardworking and kind-hearted man who dedicated more than 25 years of his life to lawn care, and to Parkers Tobacco Company, taking great pride in his work and in serving his community. His commitment, reliability, and warm smile will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by (father), Stanley Washington, (mother) Nelia Washington, (brothers) Clifton Washington, Kenny Washington, Douglas Washington, and sisters Valerie Garcia (Jackson), Michelle Jackson and (Son) Chaz Settles.
He is survived by his sisters — Vanita Washington Leonard (Fostoria Ohio), Mary Kersey (Columbus ,Ohio), Patricia Moates (Fostoria, Oh), Stacey Jackson and Danita Jackson,(Maysville, Ky) Shonna Washington (Cincinnati,Oh), two brothers, Darrin Jackson (Maysville, Ky) and Trent Livers (Columbus,OH), four children, Lita Settles, Danielle Armstrong, Tyrone Settles and Craig Settles all of (Fostoria, Ohio). Ten grandchildren and 12 plus great grandchildren. Charles leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and many friends who will cherish his memory and the many lessons he shared through his love, laughter, and example of perseverance.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Knox and Brothers Funeral Home, 625 E. 2nd St, Maysville, Kentucky 41056. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Charles's life and legacy. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
Though Charles is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
