Cordelia Simpson, 85, of Maysville, Kentucky died Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. She was a member of Scott United Methodist Church and a graduate of John G. Fee High School in 1952. Cordelia was born in Maysville, Kentucky on January 7, 1934 the daughter of the late John Harrison Simpson and Ella Florence Foster.

Survivors include her two sons, Steven King (Derryl) of Atlanta, GA and Leonard Wayne Simpson of Maysville, KY; two grandchildren, Aubrien King (Patricia) of Dayton, OH and Aria King of Cincinnati, OH and two great grandchildren, Jayden King and Jordan King. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her life partner, Eugene "Chick" Morton; her brothers, Donald Simpson, William Green, Thomas Green, Russell Green and James Green and her sisters, Anna Bell Simpson and Katherine Bearman.

Funeral services will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 16, 2018 with Rev. Kenneth Simpson officiating. Burial will be in the Washington Baptist Cemetery.
