Maysville – Dale L. Horner, 86, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center. Mr. Horner retired from Browning/EPT after forty years of service. He was a member of the Highland Christian Church of Maysville, KY and the Trinity Baptist Church, Sun City Center, FL. Dale was an avid golfer and cherished being surrounded by a lifelong group of his golfing buddies. He was born in Locust Grove, Ohio on August 24, 1933 the son of the late James and Nettie Yankee Horner. Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Diane Earls Horner; his four children, Michelle Hesler (Matt) of Maysville, KY, Melissa Delaney (Lee) of Lexington, KY, Vicki Asbury (Bill) of Aberdeen, OH and Dale L. Horner, Jr. (Sharon) of Maysville, KY; seven grandchildren, Pryce Hesler, Shelby Hesler, Logan Delaney, Jessica Fletcher, Carissa Ray, Katie Padgett and Kelly Asbury and three great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his eight siblings. Funeral services for Dale L. Horner will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, October 7, 2019 with Chaplain Keith Sergent officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Garden of Memories. Pallbearers will be Matt Hesler, Lee Delaney, Bill Asbury, Pryce Hesler, Logan Delaney and Matt Fletcher.
