Maysville – Daniel D. Brent, 85, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center. Mr. Brent was a veteran having served in the US Army. He retired from the Mason County Detention Center and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Church of Christ. Daniel was born in Springfield, Illinois on November 8, 1937 the son of the late Clyde and Alice Nadine Corrington Daggs.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Corrington Brent; three children, David Wesley Brent (Ali) of Virginia, Kathleen Masters (Eddie) of Ellisville, Mississippi and Jodi Weaver (Kevin) of Union, Kentucky; grandchildren, Rebecca Ramsey (Trevor), Rachel Carlisle (Grant), Maria Brown (Richard), Angie Weisenberger (Johnny), Michelle Caridi (Justin), Abi Brent and Maggie Brent; great grandchildren, Jasper James Ramsey, Josiah Jeffrey Ramsey, Abbey Brown, Morgan Brown, Christian Brown, Kaylee Brown, Alex Weisenberger, Bella Caridi and Sophia Caridi; Stepson, Jon Corrington Kerley and granddaughter, Gabrielle Corrington Kerley and a special grandson, Karter Lee Henderson and his sister-in-law, Susan Crews of Maysville, KY. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Joanne Dryer Brent and his sister, Janet Carol Daggs.
