Demaree C. Sexson, 93, of Aberdeen, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025 at the Ohio Valley Manor in Ripley, Ohio. In his early retirement, Demaree enjoyed boating and exercising at the YMCA. In later years, he enjoyed reading and riding scooters. He had donated several gallons of blood over the course of his lifetime.

Demaree was born on January 12, 1932 the son of the late Asa and Dora Johnson Sexson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by ten siblings.

He is survived by his three daughters and their spouses, Patti and Peter Villanyi, Marcy and Lee Hammond and Nancy and Bob Arnold; two grandchildren and their spouses, Marc and Ashley Hedrick and Jason and Lindsay Arnold and six great grandchildren, Weston, Scarlett, Kingston, Violette, Grant and Luke; his brother and his wife, Belford and Linda Sexson and his sister, Diane Kinnett.

At the direction and wishes of Demaree, no services will be held. The family would like to express thanks to all the friends and family who helped with their Dad's care in recent years and also thank the staff at Ohio Valley Manor for their compassionate care.
