Obituary

Maysville – Dolores Ann "Annie" Myrick, 83, of Maysville passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Myrick was the widow of Cere Myrick, Sr. who passed away in 2018. She retired from Wald Manufacturing Company after thirty two years of service. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, the United Women of Christ and served as a choir director. Dolores was born in Maysville, Kentucky on October 11, 1938 the daughter of the late Robert Eugene Alexander and Florence Mae Wormley.

She is survived by her sons, Cere Myrick, Jr. (Lisa) of Louisville and Sean Myrick (Rebecca) of Maysville; nineteen grandchildren which include four that she raised, Orlando Myrick, Larry Myrick, Jr., Raychelle Myrick and Nathan Myrick; special daughter-in-law, Linda Myrick; thirty five great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren and three siblings, Robert Alexander, Ronnie Anderson and Barbara Alexander. Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Doretha Myrick and sons, Larry Myrick, Sr. and Robert Myrick, Sr. and her sister, Phyllis Alexander.

Funeral services for Dolores Ann Myrick will be held at the Bethel Baptist Church at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2022 with Pastor Terence Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ron Moore, Clarence Holmes, Brian Devine, James Alexander, Victor Alexander, Stanton Thomas, Joseph Holmes, William Perry, Jerry Shaffer and Darrin Thomas.  Honorary Pallbearers are Winifred Commodore, Opal Green, Helen McGee, Roberta Blythe, Francis Commodore, Bethel Baptist Missionaries. Visitation will be held at Bethel Baptist Church on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 501 Forest Avenue, Maysville, KY 41056.
