Donald Lewis May, 81, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. Mr. May retired from Mason County Recycling Center and he was a veteran of the US Army. Donald was born in Manchester, Ohio on July 19, 1942 the son of the late Roy Buriss May and Lena Dearing May.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Miller May; four children, Donna Joyce Lancaster (Don) of Maysville, Karen Cummings of West Union, OH, Ronnie May (Crystal) of Germantown and Daryl May (Susan) of Maysville; fourteen grandchildren, Darrin Lancaster, Erin Dunlap, Westley May, Matt May, Ryan May, Justin May, Kaitie May, Chris Wills, Gracie Dwelly, Hattie Maddox, Tasha Cummings, Haley May, Braden May and Adrianna Sweet; sixteen great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren and one sister, Janie Applegate of Tollesboro, KY.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon Lynn May, one brother, Roy Marcus May and one sister, Beulah Bryant.

Funeral services for Donald May will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 1, 2024 with Rev. Sam Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Garden of Memories. Pallbearers will be Darrin Lancaster, Justin May, Ryan May, Westley May, Eddie Dunlap and Chris Wills.
