Dorothy Glenda DeVaughn, 91, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Sayer Christian Village in Lexington, Kentucky. Ms. DeVaughn retired from the University of Kentucky College. She attended Orangeburg High School and was a member of the New Hope Christian Church. Dorothy was born in Foxport, Kentucky on March 1, 1931 the daughter of the late Jesse Harrison Ham and Laura Ellen Thompson Lang.

She is survived by her three children, Glenda Foster (Bill) of Lexington, KY, Dana DeVaughn (Patty) of Richmond, KY and Krisellen Sexton of Maysville, KY; six grandchildren, Kevin Foster, David Foster, Lisa Foley, Nolan DeVaughn, Amie Sexton and Caleigh Sexton; five great grandchildren, Tyler Foster, Emma Ruth DeVaughn, Lila Jean DeVaughn, Kizar Stanton and J. Todd Stanton and one great-great granddaughter, EllaRose. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Julia Breeze, Mildred Ham and Lois Karris.

Funeral services for Dorothy DeVaughn will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 9, 2022 with Rev. Mike Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Garden of Memories. Dorothy's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
