Augusta – Dorothy Kay Harris, 54, of Augusta, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 14, 2022 at her residence. Mrs. Harris was the widow of Gregory Harris, Sr. who passed in 1987. She was of the Christian faith and devoted her life to her son and her grandchildren. Dorothy was born in Fort Thomas, Kentucky on July 16, 1967 the daughter of the late Lee Dale Sexton and Velma Kay Orme Sexton.

She is survived by her fiancé, David Goines; her son, Gregory Harris, Jr. (Abby Kuntz) of Augusta; grandchildren, Cassidy Harris, Piper Harris, Penelope Harris and Gregory Harris, III; siblings, Sandra Sexton, Brittany Wallace, Jessica Margraff, Doreen Barnes, Lee Sexton, Jr. and Jamie Humphrey and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Dorothy Harris will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 18, 2022 with Bro. Slim Bristow officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
