Edward V. "Eddie" McDaniel, Jr., 75, of Maysville, Kentucky died Saturday, October 27, 2018 at his residence. Mr. McDaniel was born in Maysville, Kentucky on April 13, 1943 the son of the late Edward V. McDaniel and Ada Mefford McDaniel. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, a 1961 graduate of Mason County High School and a veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam War. Mr. McDaniel had been a work associate for Harold's Quick Shop and Clyde's Supermarket and he later retired from Walmart and worked part time with Advanced Auto. He is survived by his wife, Judy Carter McDaniel; stepson, Kevin McCarthy of Maysville, KY; step daughters, Patricia McCarthy McKay (Joe) of Maysville, KY and Pamela McCarthy Mrusek (Mike) of Trenton, OH; step grandchildren, Amanda Marshall (Eric) of Maysville,  KY; Courtney Barker (Matt Bock), Brandon Tirey (Jodi) and Micah McCarthy all of Trenton, OH; step great grandchildren, Brooklynn Smith, Hannah Stanton and Carter Poe, all of Maysville, KY and Kaylee Barker, Aniston Bock and Cameron Tirey all of Trenton, OH; his sister, Connie Sue Bickley (Joe) of Maysville, KY and his two brothers, Mike McDaniel (Mary) of Maysville, KY and Doug McDaniel of Lexington, KY. He is also survived by his niece, Crystal Bickley Shelton and his two nephews, Joey Bickley and Tyler McDaniel. Memorial services for Eddie McDaniel will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Friday, November 2, 2018 with Rev. Jim Fant officiating.
