Eddie "Dean" Sellers, 71, of Aberdeen departed this earth Saturday, May 23, 2026. Dean was born August 2, 1954, to the late Theodore and Katherine Sellers, in Flemingsburg, Kentucky.
Dean worked at Dayton, Power, and Light, J.M. Stuart Station for 40 years as an equipment mechanic and welder. He was a member of the Stonelick Baptist Church. Dean was a devoted father, papa, brother, and husband, a great friend to many, and an avid fisherman.
Dean is survived by his two children, Kristi (Jim) Adams of Georgetown, OH and Jeremy (Carrie) Sellers of Aberdeen, OH and one stepson Michael (Amy) Gast of Ripley, OH; five grandchildren, Tori (Tyler) Hamm of Maysville, Zachary Adams (Juliette Ramirez-Torres) of Sumter, SC, Katherine Sellers (Ethan Brown), Alexandra Sellers, and Joshua Sellers all of Aberdeen; two step grandchildren, Loren and Luke Gast of Cincinnati, OH and one great grandchild, Penelope Hamm; four sisters, Bonnie Fleming, Ruth Ann Clark, Brenda (Forrest) Hedges, and Betty (Shirley) Rea, one sister-in-law Pauline Sellers and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Nancy, one infant sister Edna Marie Sellers, and four brothers, Don, Ted, Harold, and Jimmy Sellers.
Graveside services will be held at noon on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen, Ohio. A celebration of life will follow at the Aberdeen Community Building.
Pallbearers will be Jim Adams, Jeremy Sellers, Zachary Adams, Luke Gast, Josh Sellers, Tyler Hamm, and Ethan Brown. Honorary pallbearers include Austin James, Tony Price, Kim Miley, Ronnie Black, Jake Henderson, and Billy Sellers.
