Maysville - Elizabeth Vice Sapp, 92, of Maysville, Kentucky passed peacefully at her home on February 6, 2025. She was a member of Washington Central Church and active for many years in church events. Elizabeth had previously worked at Hayswood Hospital, Texas Commerce Bank, Eaton National Bank and Greenville Hospital. In her younger years, she was enthusiastically involved in 4H and other school functions. She was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan and enjoyed traveling the country to cheer for them during tournament time.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Sapp, whom she was married to for fifty-seven years, a son, Phil Sapp, her parents John Sam and Mary Hoops Vice, two brothers, Leonard Vice and Samuel Vice and two sisters, Helen Behm and Marena Cochran.

Elizabeth is survived by one daughter, Connie D. Sapp of Cold Spring, KY, two sons, Jim Bill Sapp (Debbie) of Alexandria, KY and Jeffery Sapp of Maysville, KY, and a daughter- in-law, Carol Sapp of Leesburg, Florida. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Josh Appleman (Amanda) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Nate Appleman (Rachel) of Sydney Australia, Chris Sapp (Vicki) of Southgate KY., Drew Sapp (Carol) of Dayton, KY., Ashley Kirk (Brian) of Augusta, KY, J.J. Sapp (Emma) of Alexandria, KY, Kit (Alex) Kiskadden of Maysville, KY, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Private graveside rites for Elizabeth (Libby) Sapp will be held at the Mays Lick Cemetery at the family's convenience. Memorials may be made to the Washington Central Church, PO Box 202, Washington, KY 41096.
