Ellen C. McCann, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Baptist Health in Lexington. Mrs. McCann was the widow of Donald Joe McCann who passed in 2019. She was born in Tollesboro, Kentucky on September 20, 1935 the daughter of the late Fred and Martha Hornback Calvert.

Survivors include her son, Joel Ray McCann and her grandson, Kain McCann whom she adopted and raised as her son, and her sister, Daisy C. McCann. Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Carol Moore, Frances Polley, Bill Calvert and John Denzel Calvert.

Graveside services for Ellen Calvert McCann will be held at the Hillcrest Garden of Memories at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2023 with Rev. Kent Moore officiating. Entombment will follow in the Hillcrest Garden of Memories Mausoleum. No visitation will be held prior to the service. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital at stjude.org.
