Maysville - Emma Jean Fite, 75, of Maysville, Kentucky died Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was the widow of Charles R. Fite, Sr. Mrs. Fite was born in Mason County, Kentucky on July 29, 1943 the daughter of the late Charles and Ida Mae Gallagher Jones. Survivors include her four daughters, Brenda Faye Evans, Sandy Lynn Powell, Laura Jean Gulley and Shenna Ann Verne; her three sons, David Ray Fite, Sr., Kenneth John Fite and Charles Richard Fite, Jr.; seventeen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Jo McDaniel, several siblings; two grandsons and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services for Emma Jean Fite will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Burial will be in the Charleston Bottoms Cemetery.
