Ernest Lynn King, 71, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center. Mr. King retired from Gibson Guitar Company after thirty three years of service. He was a 1971 graduate of Maysville High School, a Kentucky Colonel, professional musician and after retirement operated Ernie King Custom Guitars. Ernie was a member of the Olivet United Methodist Church. He was born in Maysville Kentucky on September 15, 1952 the son of the late William Samuel King and Helen Brown King.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Brammer King; his daughter, Abbie Lee King (Caleb Galster) of New Orleans, LA; grandchildren, Wyatt Galster, Townes Galster, Christopher Osman, Heatherly Osman and Landon Osman and his sister, Linda Schmidt of Maysville, KY.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Samuel "Kline" King, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at the Olivet United Methodist Church at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 25, 2024 with Pastor Kent Moore officiating.
