Maysville – Floyd Estill Pugh, Jr., 79, of Maysville, Kentucky went home to be with his Lord on August 12, 2023. Mr. Pugh was retired from Pepsi Cola Bottling Company in Ripley after thirty-seven years of service. Floyd was a member of the Faithway Baptist Church in Maysville, Kentucky.  He was born in Washington, Kentucky on January 2, 1944 the son of the late Floyd Estill Pugh, Sr. and Ruth Beckett Pugh.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Libby Van Camp Pugh; his three children, Lesley (Tom) Sweet, Jennifer Pugh and Jason Pugh; grandchildren, Tad Al-Jurehi, Zahraa Al-Jurehi, Elijah Pugh, Caleb Wolfe and Zachariah Sweet; sisters, Thelma (Bill) Osborne and Barbara Mumm; sister-in-law, Debbie (Randy) Bailey and several nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Pugh and Nolan Pugh and his sister, Bonnie Jones and his granddaughter, Shambre Bradford.

Funeral services for Floyd Estill Pugh, Jr. will be held at the Faithway Baptist Church at 1:00 PM Thursday, August 17, 2023 with Pastor Kevin Bell officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 5 to 8 PM. Pallbearers will be Tom Sweet, Randy Bailey, Tad Al-Jurehi, Elijah Pugh, Mason Shumaker and John Shumaker. Larry Adams will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Memorials may be made to Faithway Baptist Church, 268 E. Martin Luther King Hwy, Maysville, KY 41056.
