Gerald "Jerry" Rollins, 81, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. The son of the late James and Linda Cooper Rollins, Jerry was born in Maysville, Kentucky on October 2,1942. A 1960 graduate from Maysville High School, Jerry went on to graduate from Morehead State University. He worked as an accountant for DP&L until he retired in 2001.

Jerry was a proud member of the Washington-Central Church, where he served as a trustee. He also volunteered at the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP). He loved to watch UK basketball (if they were winning) and was a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Jerry leaves behind his wife of nearly forty years Billye Workman Rollins, a son Michael Scott Rollins, his wife Alyssa, and three grandchildren Eliza, Lucy, and Michael Dean. Jerry also leaves behind his daughter Carrie Delehanty, her husband Dave, and three step-grandchildren Nate, Eli, and Hannah, as well as several cousins, a niece, and a nephew.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Kearns.

Visitation will be held for Jerry Rollins at the Washington-Central Church on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 9:30 AM until the hour of the service. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, with Pastor David Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Maysville Cemetery.
