Hazel Jones, 91, of Florence, Kentucky died Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the Florence Park Care Center. She was the widow of Jack Edward Jones. Mrs. Jones was born in Lewis County, Kentucky on March 1, 1928 the daughter of the late Logan and Louisa Holland Applegate. Survivors include her granddaughter, Tonya Corns of Vanceburg, KY and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Corns and her siblings, Edna Corns, Roy Applegate, Willie Lee Applegate, Thelma Applegate, Velma Applegate and Nancy Bartolin. Funeral services for Hazel M. Jones will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Saturday, November 23, 2019 with Rev. Phil Cropper officiating.
