Jackie Lee Allison, 86 of Bentonville, Ohio was born in Maysville, Kentucky on September 17, 1939 and went home to meet the Lord on February 27, 2026. He was the son of the late Clarence Frazier Allison and Mary Agnes Mason Allison.

Jackie was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family dearly and he was a devoted Christian man who was a member of the Seddon Global Methodist Church in Maysville, Kentucky and a graduate of Maysville High School.

He was a wonderful athlete and excelled at basketball and baseball where he played in several State tournaments. Jackie was part of the Maysville High School State baseball championship team in 1958. He was an avid sports fan, and he loved University of Kentucky basketball and the Cincinnati Reds. He coached his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in youth sports. He was a veteran and served in the US Army.

Jackie is survived by his four children, Lisa Lynn Stricklett (Jeff) of West Union, Ohio, Jacqueline Bradley (Dwane) of Somerset Kentucky, Julie Yerkes (Andy) of Columbus, Georgia, and Steven Allison (Treva) of Bentonville, Ohio; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of Fifty-five years, Delores Ann Shultz Allison; his two sisters, Juanita Allison and Janet Meadows along with his brother Jerry Allison.

Funeral services for Jackie Lee Allison will be held at the Seddon Global Methodist Church at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 4, 2026 with Pastor Charles Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Maysville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Stricklett, Andy Yerkes, Dwane Bradley, Ethan Stricklett, Will Lovejoy, Justin Palmer, and Jon Meadows. Visitation will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 5 to 7 PM.
