Maysville - Jaqueline "Jackie" Burden Hopkins, 75 of Maysville KY passed away peacefully on

September 10, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She worked as a nurse for twenty plus years. Jackie loved singing and playing the piano. She was born in Maysville Kentucky on August 21, 1950 the daughter of the late Tade and Eudena Cobb Burden. She was married to the love of her life Herbie Hopkins. They were married for 58 years and together they are now reunited in Heaven.

She is survived by her three children, Dale (Billie) Hopkins of Maysville, KY; Lori (Michael) Duzan of Maysville, KY; and Scott (Tammy) Hopkins of Mays Lick, KY; seven Grandchildren, Bradley Hopkins, Brandie Fannin, Codey Hopkins, Jacob Hopkins, Brianna Hopkins, Zachary Duzan and Isabelle Hopkins: sixteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; one sister Nancy Owens, and two brothers, Nicky Burden and Ernie McFarland. She is also survived by her faithful friend and furbaby, Bo.

Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister Peggy Bellamy and four brothers, Jimmy Ray (Biggin) Burden, Mike Burden, Ricky Burden, and Jerry Burden.

Funeral services for Jackie Burden will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, September 15, 2025 with Pastor Marilyn Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in the Wedonia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dale & Codey Hopkins, Jacob Hopkins, Mike & Zachary Duzan, and Dillon Hicks, and Scott Hopkins serving as an Honorary Pallbearer.
