Maysville- Jerry Dean Moran, 77, passed away at the VA hospital in Lexington KY, on June 27, 2022.

Born in Nicholas County on January 3, 1945, the son of the late Albert F and Pauline Moran.

He was an Army vet, having served 5 years from 1964 to 1969. Jerry was an active longtime member of the Odd Fellows lodge DeKalb and was a past Noble Grand.

He is survived by his only brother, Richard (Brenda) Moran of Maysville; two nieces, Kim (Terry) Muse of Maysville, and Jenni (Tom) O'Nan of Versailles; five great nephews and one great niece, Westley (Brittany) May of Lawrenceburg, Matthew (Lauren) May of Frankfort, Lucas Muse of Maysville, Peter O'Nan of Versailles, Steven O'Nan of Versailles, and Rebekah Muse of Boston, MA. He was very close to his great nephews and niece, and they will serve as pallbearers. And Great Great nephew Brayden May, and Great Great niece Ava James May.

Mr. Moran was preceded in death by his parents, and great niece Emily Kate Muse.

Funeral Services for Jerry Dean Moran will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral home at 12:00pm Friday July 1, 2022. Burial will follow at the Carlisle Cemetery.
