Joel Ray McCann, 67, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Fleming County Hospital. Mr. McCann was retired from Dayton Power and Light where he worked as a mechanic specialist. He was born in Maysville, Kentucky the son of the late Donald and Ellen Calvert McCann.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Archer McCann of Morehead, Kentucky; his son, Aaron Cain McCann of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; his aunt, Daisy C. McCann and numerous other aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Martha Hornback Calvert and his paternal grandparents, Harold and Beatrice McCall McCann as well as several aunts and uncles, Carol Moore, Frances Polley, Bill Calvert, John Denzel Calvert, Carl McCann and Kathleen Cox.

At the final wishes of Joel Ray McCann a private graveside was held at the Hillcrest Garden of Memories with Rev. Kent Moore officiating.
