Maysville – Jon Corrington Kerley, 55, of Flemingsburg passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 at the Fleming County Hospital. Mr. Kerley worked as a dispatcher for the Fleming County EMS and Law Enforcement Services. He was born in Carbondale, Illinois on November 25, 1967 the son of Cindy Corrington Brent of Maysville, KY.
Beside his loving mother, Cindy Corrington Brent, Jon is survived by his beloved daughter, Gabrielle Corrington Kerley of Maysville; his special daughter, Ava Marie Parks of Maysville; special aunt, Susan Crews of Maysville; first cousin, Laura Crews and her children, Layla Grace Crews-Taylor, Lawsyn Michael Crews-Taylor, Liviana Faith Captian and his cousin, Shelly Norris of Wake Forest, NC and his loving and dedicated cats, Bo Bo and Pearl.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Daniel Brent; his maternal grandparents, Forrest and Roberta Corrington; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kerley and Douglas Niel Crews who was his fun cousin, a great friend and fishing companion.
Jon and his daughter, Gabrielle Corrington Kerley were always on adventures. Their favorite place to visit was Went's Wildlife Adventure Zoo in Carlisle. Jon took Gabrielle to her first rock and roll concert. He was an avid fan of the Laker's. Music was a contentment in Jon's life and his daughter shared that musical connection with him. Together they were a great team and she will miss him dearly.
At the wishes of Jon, no services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Went's Wildlife Adventures Zoo, 3740 Maysville Road, Carlisle, KY 40311 or to the Mason County Animal Shelter, 301 River Drive, Maysville, KY 41056.
