Joyce Ann Reed, 78, of Maysville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on November 4, 1946, the daughter of the late Talmadge Whitaker and Lucy Collins.

Joyce is survived by her two daughters, Sarah Thompson (Craig) and Elizabeth McKinney (Jimmy); seven grandchildren, Lydia Siegrist, Madycin Applegate, Izabella Thompson, Lilyana Thompson, Brayden McKinney, Seth McKinney and Owen McKinney; one great grandchild, Weston Applegate and her brothers, Johnny Whitaker, Gary Whitaker, and Stevie Jo "Toe" Whitaker.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Eddie Whitaker.

Services for Joyce Ann Reed will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 16, 2025 at the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle with Pastor Randy Osman officiating. Pallbearers will be Jimmy McKinney, Craig Thompson, Brayden McKinney, Seth McKinney, Owen McKinney, and Devin Blythe. Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. Burial will be held at the Green Acres Cemetery on Monday at 11:00 AM.
