Maysville – Mary Katherine (Kathy) Faul, 68, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away Monday, March 6, 2023 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of Roy Wayne Faul who passed February 23, 2023. Kathy retired from Emerson Power Transmissions. She was of the Christian faith and was a 1972 graduate from Mason County High School and attended Maysville Community College. Kathy was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on December 13, 1954 the daughter of the late Bro. Lester Ray Johnston and Ruth Carter Johnston.
She is survived by her son, Benjamin Wayne Faul; her sister, Linda Marchetti (Allen) of Bluffton, SC and her brother, Lester Ray Johnston, Jr. (Judy Love) of Georgetown, KY; her sister-in-law, Suzanne Faul (Jim Greene) of Bainbridge, OH; four nephews, David Caudell, Carter Caudell, Rob Allison and Ian Johnston; two nieces, Rebecca Allison Hills and Vanessa Marchetti; four great nieces, Taeylor Caudell, Abbi Allison, Evelyn Ruth Hills and Riley Johnston and two great nephews, Thomas Hills and Bradley Johnston. Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy M. Faul and Lucille Ross Faul and her sister, Susan Johnston Hagan and her husband, Frank Hagan.
Funeral services for Kathy Faul will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 9, 2023 with Charles Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Garden of Memories. Pallbearers will be Rob Allison, David Caudell, Carter Caudell, Ian Johnston, Mark Comer and Kelly Ashley. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
