Kenneth G. Bramel, Jr., 79, of Lexington, Kentucky and formerly from Maysville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025 at The Willows at Fritz Farm in Lexington, Kentucky. He had been a resident there the past four years. Kenneth had worked in Lexington and retired from Square D and also Lockheed Martin. He was an avid reader, especially fond of History. Mr. Bramel was a 1963 graduate of Millersburg Military Institute, a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and attended Sullivan Preparatory School in Washington, DC. Kenneth was also a veteran of the US Army and completed an honorable four year tour of duty.

He was born in Maysville, Kentucky on August 22, 1945 the son of the late Kenneth G. Bramel, Sr. and the late Beulah Arthurs Hopper and step-son of the late Charles C. Hopper.

He is survived by his four siblings, Helen B. Kern of Maysville, KY, Betty Wilkins (Jack) and Diana Silvey both of Lexington, KY and Charles Clarke Hopper (Raye Jean) of Cocoa Beach, FL and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr. Bramel will be laid to rest in the Maysville Cemetery with a private ceremony being held with his immediate family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
