Larry W. Breckenridge, 72, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. He was the widower of Renee Humphrey Breckenridge who passed in 2023. Larry was a member of Scott United Methodist Church and a graduate of Maysville High School. He was born in Maysville, Kentucky on August 13, 1952 the son of the late Garnett and Florence Commodore Breckenridge.

He is survived by his three sons, Joshua Breckenridge of Santa Barbara, CA and Terrence Breckenridge and Michael Henry of Maysville, KY; five grandchildren, Aubrie Breckenridge, Zaire Henry, DaRell Henry, Milyn Henry and Tania Henry; one great grandchild, Zavian Henry and siblings, Charles Breckenridge, Linda Jones, Wanda Humphrey, Mattie Stewart, Virginia Kirk and Wilma Commodore as well as a host of family and friends.

Besides his wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bob Breckenridge, James "Lou Lou" Breckenridge, Mary "Easel" Thomas and Anna Cunningham.

Funeral services for Larry Breckenridge will be held at the Bethel Baptist Church at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 21, 2024 with Rev. Claude Commodore and Rev. Greg Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lath Kirk, Barry Kirk, Chad Thomas, Billy Thomas, Troy Thomas and Thomas Stallworth, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Overly, Terry Cunningham, Shamar Humphrey, Aaron Breckenridge, Gary Wormley and Jake Meadows. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
