Larry Hill Pitts, 74, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Larry was a welder and associated with the Iron Workers Union #44, Hebron, Kentucky. He was a Vietnam War veteran having served in the US Army. Larry was born in Maysville, Kentucky on November 11, 1951 the son of the late Virgil and Martha Hill Pitts.

He is survived by his loving wife, Doris Tucker Pitts; his two daughters, Stephanie (Stacy) Berry and Erin Shae Pitts (Jeff Thomas) both of Maysville; two grandchildren, Tyler Berry (fiancée, Abigail Hoover) of Denver, CO and Captian Alexandra O’Hara (Captian Ryan O’Hara) of Tacoma, WA; four siblings, Elmer Pitts (Janelle) of Mt. Olivet, KY, Jackie Gallenstein (Norbert), Lana Towner and Vanessa Stahl all of Maysville and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Lorena Slack, Wayne Pitts and Ricky Pitts.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday, November 12, 2026 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with a memorial graveside service at the Hillcrest Garden of Memories at 1:30 PM, Thursday, November 12, 2026 with Rev. Harry Brooks officiating.
