Lewis Samuel "Buck" Wallingford, 93, of Maysville, Kentucky died Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. He was the widower of Betty Million Wallingford who died in 2017. Mr. Wallingford was retired from the State of Kentucky Road Department, was a veteran of the US Army National Guard and a member of the Central Baptist Church in Maysville. He was born in Mason County, Kentucky on October 31, 1925 the son of the late Robert Burgess Wallingford and Audrey Mae Walker Wallingford. He is survived by his children, Barbara Sweet of Georgetown, OH, Donna Menefee (Roger), Mike Berryman and Ronnie Berryman (Sarah) all of Maysville, KY; Ten grandchildren, Steve Sanders, Heather William, Brittany Berryman, Peyton Berryman, Adrienne Pollitt, Whitney Berryman, Alyssa Reese, Joshua Menefee, Laura Menefee and Michele Fields; thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; two brothers, Ralph Wallingford and Charles Wallingford (Dottie) both of Georgetown, OH and one sister, Betty Purdin of Sardinia, OH. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Bob Wallingford, Calvin Wallingford, Joe Wallingford and Emerson Wallingford and two sisters, Dorothy Strode and Freda Neu. Funeral services for Buck Wallingford will be held at the Central Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Thursday April 25, 2019 with Rev. Adam Burton officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery.
