Maysville – Lou Bradley, 92, of Maysville, Kentucky died Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. She was the widow of Dr. William A. Bradley who died June 10, 1982. Mrs. Bradley was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, a member of the Mason County Republican Party where she served as County Chairman, the first lady to ever do so, and was a former member of the Maysville Planning and Zoning committee. She had attended Marshall University and later while living in Louisville, Kentucky she worked as an associate of the business of Selman's. Mrs. Bradley was born in Paintsville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Charles and Geneva Scrivner Williams. She is survived by her two sons, Mark Bradley (Penny) of Marbleton, GA and Brian Bradley of Maysville, KY; two granddaughters, Rachael Bradley and Elizabeth Bradley; one great grandchild, Allison Harris; two brothers, Mike Williams (Jeannie) of Franklin, TN and Ed Williams of Paintsville, KY and one sister, Vickie Pack of Paintsville, TN. Besides her husband and her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Williams, Jr. and Robert Williams.
Funeral services for Lou Bradley will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church at 12:00 PM Thursday, September 6, 2018 with Rev. Jim Fant and Rev. Elizabeth Smith officiating the services. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Hafer, John Denham, Doug Hendrickson, Dallas Doyle, Tim Teegarden and Dr. James Adams. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056. The arrangements are entrusted with the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
