Marcella Mingua Poe, 90, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Poe was the widow of Charles Dillon Poe who passed in 1988. She was born in Mason County, Kentucky on March 26, 1934 the daughter of the late John Welburn Mingua and Gertrude Hamm Mingua.

Marcella is survived by her five children, Charles Michael Poe (Charlotte) of Maysville, KY, Mark Christopher Poe of Atwood, CA, Sharon Maloney of Cincinnati, OH, Deborah Cooley of Maysville, KY and Kathy Moore (Jeff) of Pfafftown, NC; five grandchildren, John Blanco, Kara Litzinger, Mandy Moran, Tammy Dugan and Shane Poe; thirteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren and her twin sister, Mardella Wheeler of Lexington, KY.

Beside her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Michael Poe; her great granddaughter, Courtney Dawn Moran and her brother, Eugene Mingua.

Funeral services for Marcella Poe will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Friday, August 9, 2024 with Rev. James Rawlings officiating. Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
