Obituary

Margaret Ann (Dwyer) Maddox, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Hospice of Hope Care Center. She was born and raised in Maysville, KY and a long-time member of Saint Patrick Church. Margaret spent her last years as a resident of Kenton Pointe Assisted Living with her many friends.

Margaret Ann was born on August 4, 1933 in Maysville to the late John T. and Ruth (Meyer) Dwyer. She was a graduate of Saint Patrick School where she never missed a day for 12 years. Margaret was a long-time employee of South Central Bell/AT&T where she retired after 30+ years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Maddox, Jr. and a sister, Sister Louisa Dwyer. Margaret is survived by her three children, Kevin AH Maddox of Lexington; Robert (Kim) Maddox of Lexington; and Julie Pfeffer of Belcher, KY. She has five grandsons, Andrew (Kayla) Pfeffer of Maysville; Alexander Maddox of Lexington; John Robert (Kirsten) Pfeffer of St. Mary's GA; Zachary Maddox of Lexington; and Matthew (Emily) Pfeffer of Mount Orab, OH. In addition she leaves four great-grandchildren, McKenzie Roberson, Annslee Pfeffer, Maddox Pfeffer, and Owen Pfeffer as well as numerous friends and loved ones.

Services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023 at the Saint Patrick Church in Maysville, KY from 9:00AM-11:00AM followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00AM. Burial to follow at the Saint Patrick Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Patrick School Tuition Assistance.
