Mary Eileen Banks, 67, formerly of Maysville, Kentucky died Monday, June 3, 2019 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. She was the widow of Jacob Nelson Banks who died in 2010. The couple married on March 21, 1981. Mary was a longtime local piano teacher and childcare provider. She was born in Maysville, Kentucky on August 27, 1951 the daughter of the late Ray and Bernice Leet Cooper. She is survived by her son Micah Banks of San Bruno, CA and her grandchildren, Jacob, Joseph and Sarah Banks. Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Theodore Cooper and Clifton Cooper. Funeral services for Mary Banks will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 8, 2019 with Rev. Ted Ralston officiating. Burial will follow in the Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
