Milda Elaine Haughaboo, 83, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center. She was the widow of Howard Thomas Haughaboo who passed in 2005. Mrs. Haughaboo graduated from Eastern Kentucky University and received her master degree in teaching. She retired from Georgetown Exempted Village School and Southern State Community College. Elaine was born in Hyden, Kentucky the daughter of the late Raleigh and Clara Combs Campbell.

She is survived by her two children, H. Calvin Haughaboo (Penny) and Tanja H. Griffith (Bryan) both of Maysville, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Shelby Griffith and Jenna Hester (Joshua) and three great grandchildren, Berkley Hester, Charlie Hester and Kaler Griffith.
