Orella Conley Preston, 85, of Maysville, Kentucky passed Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the Ohio Valley Manor in Ripley, Ohio. She was the widow of William E. Preston. Orella retired from Emerson Corporation and was a member of the Community Bible Church in Aberdeen. She was born in Roscoe, Kentucky on February 4, 1938 the daughter of the late Virgil and Bessie Sloas Conley.

She is survived by her two children, Ronald Hedges Jr. (Penny) of Oneida, TN and Peggy H. Walls (Danny) of Lancaster, KY; two grandchildren, Leslie Calmes (Brian) and Megan Phillips (Seth); five great grandchildren Will Calmes, Colt, Capp, Caz and Cai Phillips; two brothers, Roger Conley of Vanceburg and Johnny Conley of Frankfort and a sister-in-law, Sue Conley of Mt. Olivet.

Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Carl Conley, David Conley, Myrl Cordle and Judy Conley.

Funeral services for Orella Preston will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 28, 2023 with Rev. Jackie McElfresh officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
