Maysville - Patricia "Pat" Ann Cox Buerkley, 83, of Maysville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Pat was born on June 14, 1943, in Bracken County, Kentucky, to the late Charles and Blanche Jett Cox. She dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker and was a faithful member of the Maysville Church of Christ. Pat was known for her kind heart, unwavering faith, gentle spirit, and the love she poured into her home.
She found her greatest joy in caring for her family, celebrating life's milestones together, and creating cherished memories with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Michael (Janet) Buerkley, Mark (Kathy) Buerkley, and Angela (Mike) Quillen; her grandchildren, Ashlee (Codie) Pollitt, Garrett (Michelle) Buerkley, and Willow Quillen; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Bryce Pollitt, Branson Pollitt, Brielyn Pollitt, and Kendyll Buerkley.
She is also survived by her siblings, Goldie Moran, Bonnie Shepherd, James Cox, and Joyce Colvin, along with several beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ron Buerkley, and her brother, Bobby Cox.
At the wishes of Pat, private graveside services will be held with her family at the Washington Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Buerkley, Micheal Buerkley, Mike Quillen, Garrett Buerkley, Codie Pollift, Branson Pollitt, Bryce Pollitt, and James Cox.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Hope for their compassionate care and kindness shown to Pat and her family.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Hope Care Center, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056.
