Patricia Louise Greifenkamp, 81, of Maysville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 7, 2024. Throughout her life, Patricia was actively involved in many community organizations, taking on important leadership roles. She served as President of the Mason County Homemakers, Chairman of the Maysville Housing Authority for five years, Co-President of the Mason County Athletic Boosters, and Chairman of the Nestle Libby's Float Committee.
Born on September 23, 1943, in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William "Bud" Yazell and Anita Ruby Linville.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Tim Greifenkamp; her son, Timothy Darin Greifenkamp (Phyllis); and her daughter, Lisa Dawn Thacker (Jody). She is survived by her grandchildren, Timothy Carson Greifenkamp (Peyton), Haley Marie Lollar (John), Paige Noelle Thacker (Bobby), and Falon Nicole Thacker. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Carolyn Collins.
Funeral services will be held at the First Christian Church at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 11, 2024, with Pastor Jeff Sames officiating. Burial will follow at Saint Patrick Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Darin Greifenkamp, Jody Thacker, Carson Greifenkamp, John Lollar, Bobby Lim, and Aritra (Ben) Banerjee. Sally Teegarden will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will take place at the First Christian Church on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Hospice of Hope in Patricia's memory.
Arrangements are entrusted to Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
Patricia will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her love will always remain in our hearts.
