Pat (Pocky) McHugh, 74, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Pat was born in Maysville, Kentucky on June 9, 1950, the daughter of the late John A. McHugh and Jane McGuire McHugh. She was a graduate of St. Patrick High School and a member of St. Patrick Church.

She was a receptionist at the Maysville Community and Technical College from 1977 until her Retirement in 2020. A lifelong follower of Jesus Christ and devoted animal lover (Especially Cats). Pat was a one woman animal rescue team to all creatures great and small.

Pat loved her Elvis, The Cincinnati Reds, and was an active member in the Bobby Ridell Fan Club. She was also the ultimate Aunt to her nieces and nephews. Always in attendance at every event and milestones in their lives. As much as she loved her family, she loved and cherished her family of beloved friends. Most of which she has had since grade school.

Pat is survived by her brother Sean McHugh of Kissimmee, Florida; Her Aunt Frances McHugh of Maysville, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and sister in law.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her brothers, Jack McHugh, Jim McHugh, Mark McHugh, and Chuck McHugh.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 11:00AM at the St. Patrick Cemetery. Father Andrew Young will be officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mason County Animal Shelter at 301 River Drive, Maysville, Kentucky 41056. Services are entrusted to the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
