Peggy Marie Grandison, 80, of Maysville passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. She was born on June 6, 1942 the daughter of the late Charles and Pauline Redmond. She was a member of the Voice of God Church. Peggy worked as a domestic worker for several families in Maysville. She always did her job professionally.
She is survived by her children, two sons, Herman DeWayne Grandison and Charles Edward Grandison (friend, Kathy) and two daughters, Pauline Frances Grandison and Melissa Ann Grandison (Donald); three granddaughters, Heather Marie Johnson Grandison, Albreyanna Simmons and Caleigha Simmons; one sister, Joyce Grandison; one brother-in-law, Elgin Grandison; one sister-in-law, Pam Grandison and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Grandison; her son Michael Redmond; two sisters, Eula "Pink" Steward and Martha Corde and nephews.
Funeral services for Peggy Grandison will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 3, 2022 with Pastor Frank Burns and Pastor Terence Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lance Corde, Bradley Sessoms, Andrew Jones, Marcus Green, Christopher Green and Corey Tuggle. Honorary pallbearers will be DeWayne Grandison, David Green and Troy Steward. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
