Tollesboro – Rebecca Frances Funk, 71, of Tollesboro passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center. Rebecca formerly worked for Home Health and later as a daycare assistant and attended Hickory Grove Church. She was born in Mount Carmel, Kentucky on April 3, 1951 the daughter of the late Herb Lewis and Betty Jane Patrick Lewis.

Survivors include her daughters, Angela Long of LaVergne, TN and Patricia Funk of Lynx, OH; Siblings, David Patrick of Fleminsburg, Chester Lewis of Cincinnati, OH, Clarence Lewis of Higginsport, OH, Michael (Vickie) Lewis of Manchester, OH, Jackie (Lisa) Lewis of Batavia, OH, Molly (John) Truesdell of Maysville; special sisters, Vanessa Shoemaker of Maysville and Betty Honaker of Grundy, VA; Eight grandchildren, Ten step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; special son-in-laws, Rob Long of West Union, OH, Ernie Highfield of LaVergne, TN and Kelly Grooms of Lynx, OH. She was preceded in death by her brother, William "Bill" Lewis.

Funeral services for Rebecca Funk will be held at the Hickory Grove Church at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 10, 2022. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
