Maysville – Ricky Allen Parker, Jr., 44, of Maysville, Kentucky died Saturday, August 29, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Parker was an occupational therapist for Ohio Valley Manor. He was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and a member of the Saint Patrick Church. Ricky was born in Maysville, Kentucky on May 17, 1976 the son of Ricky A. Parker, Sr. and Bonnie Miller Parker of Maysville, Kentucky. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Katherine McHugh Parker; his daughter, Sophia Nadine Parker, at home; his mother-in-law, Etta Molton McHugh of Maysville; his brother-in-law, John McHugh (Laura) of Lexington; his nephew, Bennett McHugh of Lexington; a special uncle, Sean McHugh of Kissimmee, FL and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Henry and Nancy Parker and his maternal grandparents, William and Alice Miller and by his father-in-law, Jack McHugh. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Saint Patrick Church at 12:00 PM Tuesday, September 1, 2020 with Rev. Andrew Young as the celebrant. Burial will follow in the Saint Patrick Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John McHugh, Sean McHugh, Russ Young, Mike Cooper, Bud Shumate and Garrick Howell. Visitation will be held at the Saint Patrick Church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the mass. In compliance with the state mandate, masks are required for those in attendance and all should practice social distancing.
