Roy Wayne Faul, 69, of Maysville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center. He was of the Christian faith, a 1972 Honor graduate of Mason County High School and Maysville Community College. After college, Roy went to work for the Bank of Maysville, then he became the controller for Hayswood and Meadowview Hospitals and later managed the practice for Ohio Valley Heart and then retired from Hospice of Hope. Roy was an avid golfer and gardener and loved watching sports and doing woodworking projects and enjoyed helping others. He was born in Maysville, Kentucky on February 7, 1954 the son of the late Roy M. and Lucille Ross Faul.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Katherine (Kathy) Johnston Faul; his son Benjamin Wayne Faul; his sister, Suzanne Faul (Jim Greene) of Bainbridge, OH; his sister-in-law, Linda Marchetti (Allen) of Bluffton, SC and his brother-in-law, Lester Ray Johnston, Jr. (Judy Love) of Georgetown, KY; four nephews, David Caudell, Carter Caudell, Rob Allison and Ian Johnston; two nieces, Rebecca Allison Hills and Vanessa Marchetti; four great nieces, Taeylor Caudell, Abbi Allison, Evelyn Ruth Hills and Riley Johnston and two great nephews, Thomas Hills and Bradley Johnston. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bro. Lester Ray Johnston and Ruth Carter Johnston and sister-in-law Susan Johnston Hagan and her husband, Frank Hagan.

Funeral services for Roy Faul will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 26, 2023 with Charles Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Garden of Memories. Pallbearers will be Rob Allison, David Caudell, Carter Caudell, Ian Johnston, Mark Comer and Kelly Ashley.
