Maysville - Ruth Harover, 78, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born in Tollesboro, Kentucky on November 20, 1940, the daughter of the late Cliff and Alice Prater Pollitt.  Mrs. Harover was a graduate of Tollesboro High School.  Ruth was a former employee of J C Penney and the office of Dr. Beineke in Maysville.  She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, William Scott Harover.  She is survived by their two sons, Tony (Susan) Harover of Shelbyville, KY, and Tim (Denise) Harover, of Richmond, KY and her grandchildren Andrew (Ashton Miller) Harover of Seattle, WA, Christopher (Amber) Harover of Richmond, KY, Matthew (Cassandra) Harover of Prosper, TX, Nicholas (Savannah Blank) Harover of Lexington, KY and Shannon Harover of Shelbyville, KY.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Ruth is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Wayne White and her brother David Pollitt. Funeral services for Ruth Harover will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 30, 2018 with Bro. Bruce Heller officiating. Burial will be in the Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the hour of the service.
