Thomas Dean Douglas, 63 of Maysville passed away Monday, June 27,2022.  He & his wife, Karen Jennings Douglas celebrated their 42nd anniversary in May this year.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Thomas Douglas & Ruby Dean Douglas, and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.  Besides his loving wife he is survived by one special God daughter Michelle Frederick Buerkley, brother & sister in laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.

Tom attended Maysville High School and then attended the Maysville vocational school and was a draftsman/ designer for many years at Browning/ Emerson/ Regal and also the Staler Corporation in Millersburg.  Tom & Karen had a small beef farm.  In retirement he loved the peace & quiet of the farm on the creek. He especially loved time on the farm with his sidekick his yellow lab, Ski.  Tom spent time tinkering on things on the farm, mowing, helping Karen with her barrel projects, hunting and rebuilding their ski boat.  He enjoyed road trips and time on the lakes & rivers in several states with Karen and his special boat buddies that have been friends for years.

Cremation was chosen. A celebration of life visitation will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home from 5:00PM to 8:00 PM.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Frederick, Robert Waggoner, Steve Carlisle, John Berry, Greg McFarland, Jerry Fields and Tom Keenan.
