Maysville – Thomas Lee "Tom" Moran, 83, of Maysville passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. Mr. Moran was the owner and operator of Moran's Service Station from 1963 to 1992 and later was the manager of Springwood Millston Apartments. Tom was a longtime member of the Washington Central Church. He was born in Mason County, Kentucky the son of the late Jessie Everett Moran and Julia Peggs Moran.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Poynter Moran; his son Jeff Moran (Alicia) of Maysville; step-daughters, Trina Wolfe (Jeff) of Bracken County, KY and Tonya Nally (Ronny) of Cartersville, GA; six grandchildren, Bethany Crouch (Joey), Cassidy Wolfe, Daniel Nally (Madi), Dustin Nally (Kori), Jamie Pattison (Lynn) and Johnnie Cooper and one sister, Charlotte Kalb of Bracken County, KY. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Moran, his sisters, Mary Faulkner, Virginia Willkamp and Pauline Hesler and brothers, Allen Moran, Eugene Moran, Bill Moran, Stanley Moran and Gordon Moran.

Funeral services for Tom Moran will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 9, 2022. Burial will follow in the Charleston Bottom Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Kalb, Kenny Kalb, Mike Hesler, Matt Hesler, Daniel Nally and Scott Mellenkamp. Gayle Clos will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
