With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our cherished Vincent Lee Alexander, 90, of Toledo, Ohio on March 5, 2025. Vincent was born in Maysville, Kentucky on October 31, 1934. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 25 years. He was also a successful entrepreneur owning several businesses and a decorated Veteran of the US Air Force. Vincent was a very ambitious, a hard worker, and loved his family and friends. He was known for his bold sense of style and confidence that lit up any room. Vincent also had a love of cars, exercise and visiting other countries.

He is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Mitchell B) Thomas, Mamie Grey, Kenya (Rodnal) Crosby and Paula (Jackson Jr.) Bennett. He also leaves behind his niece, LeJean (Harold) Turner; grandchildren, Raissa, Mitchell V, Tia, Tori, Jackson III, Aleah, Ashley, Becke, Timothy and Trevon and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Alexander and Anna C. Burnham, niece Willa Jones, son, Gregory Gibbs, nephews, Andre Jones and LeJohn Grand and sister Jewell R. Johnson.

Funeral services for Vincent Alexander will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 15, 2025 with Rev. Randy Taylor officiating and assisted by Rev. Greg Jones and Rev. Claude Commodore. Burial will follow in the Washington Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
